You are absolutely right. Giving speeches is what Obama is good at (but unfortunately much of his skills end there); however, the rest of the world hates Americans speeching and telling them what to do.

I agree with what you write. it is unfortunate that Obama wastes his talents on speeching.

A couple of days ago he criticized the Supreme court's decision without giving the justices a chance to retort.

Health care is a disaster which with all the compromises can only turn out bad.

A gifted politician who wastes his skills.

Obama's star seems to descend. I strongly object to his criticism of the Supreme Court.
What you say above is very true.

It seems, that he is wasting his talent to just give speeches.

In the end a disappointment.

I wish you were right that American's aren't stupid. In fact, only liberal Americans turn to John Stewart. An amazing number of Americans listen to Fox, and many more to CNN, which isn't much better in terms ot telling the real truth about things like the war in Afghanistan, or the health care issue, or even the economic crisis. And I know the people around where I live believe the news they see on the tube and read in the local paper, the Philadelphia Inquirer -- rather a joke of a publication these days for the most part.

As for China, you'd be surprised how accurate some of the hand-me-down stories turn out to be.

Wow--you think that xiaodao xiaoxi works? It exists because Chinese trust little else, but that doesn't make it anymore accurate. It's essentially playing a game of telephone, passing the message from one person to the next, getting changed or embellished upon each time. Americans aren't stupid, we don't have all that much trust in our media either. It's a sad state of affairs when people put more faith in Jon Stewart than Brian Williams, but it reflects how outdated the whole network news concept has become (and just how terrible 24-hour cable news has become as well).
