Prior to either Israel's or the U.S.'s striking Iran's "nuclear sites" militarily, some mainstream news organization needs to do an indepth analysis of the 200-300 nuclear weapons Israel currently possesses. Plus the systems to deliver them to various parts of the Middle East, including Iran, and Europe.

This is not a secret. President Jimmy Carter has made mention of them. There have been numerous articles written about how Israel acquired their stock of Weapons of Mass Destruction. All this started in the 60’s and carried on through the 70’s and 80’s.

Considering Israel’s intransigence regarding a lasting peace agreement with the Palestinians and the recent Goldstone report that critiqued Israel’s use of white phosphorus weapons (illegal under international law) which constituted war crimes, and considering that it is Israel that is pushing for a military strike against Iran, and that Israel refuses to publicly acknowledge that they possess multiple weapons of mass destruction, that they refuse any inspections by the IAEA, that they refuse to become a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and that they continue to actively snub scores of U.N. resolutions, perhaps it is Israel that poses the biggest terrorist threat to the Middle East.

Perhaps it is Israel that should have crippling economic sanctions brought against it.

Here is a quick quiz to take regarding one’s knowledge of Iran:

Before Secretary Gates and President Obama seal their plans for Iran in concrete, I suggest they take a second objective look at Israel’s actions.

It is time for Israel to allow international inspections of it’s nuclear weapons program and for President Obama and Vice President “I’m a Zionist” Biden to demand they do so, otherwise Congress should stop all financial and military aid to Israel.

Terri Gross, NPR, WaPo, NYT, ABC, NBC, FOX, CNN.....

The differences are in style, not substance! Once the establishment has decided on the policy, they send their marketers to give "backgrounds" and "exclusives" to the the media personality (notice I did not say journalists), which then end up selling it to the public. It is all clean because it is not the government propagandizing directly (that would be illegal). Instead, a few media personalities competing for the exclusives from "sources" (which by the way helps them advance their careers) do the dirty work! Yes, it is very cynical indeed.

I am so glad somebody Is truthfully reporting on this classic American PR scam. When I was re-tweeting this article somebody else was tweeting that the death toll to Iraqis since we invaded them was 1,366,000 +. Sleep well America.
