This short film was shot in Westwood, California outside the office of Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. It was produced by Lyn Goldfarb, an Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker, in association with Ramblin’ Man Films, a web studio founded by filmmaker and political and social issues junkie Dustin Slaughter.

Great video. I hope Senator Feinstein gets the message. By the way, I was at Senator Feinstein’s office a couple of weeks ago in August along with others to express our support for healthcare reform. I and others were allow to speak to Feinstein’s field reps. in a boardroom in Feinstein’s office. The field representative told us that Feinstein is in favor of healthcare reform but she need to read the look over the bill because she is concerned about the cost. That is what the field rep told us and people in that room were livid at that response. Some of the people in the room threaten that they would not re-elect Feinstein if she votes against the healthcare reform.
The field rep did take notes of everyone’s concern. From that meeting, I am still unsure about Feinstein’s stance on this issue. But, I will tell you that Feinstein and Boxer, this is according to phone calls to their offices, didn’t schedule any townhall meetings nor conference calls on healthcare reform. I had read an article online a couple of weeks ago that Boxer has been promoting her new book. We shall see where they both stand on this issue.
Boxer is solidly in favor of a Public Option. Feinstein has expressed some support for co-ops. Turn up the heat on her.
Thanks for watching the video. Stay tuned as we’ll likely turn up the heat on insurance companies…
Feinstein? The same Dianne Feinstein that voted AGAINST her constituents FOR the first bailout funds under the Bush administration?!?!?
Please people, garner alittle more evidence for the exacting responses. When you look at the way the government uses accounting methods in a more serious light you’ll begin to see a pattern of domestic abuse so to speak;

And all the talk of “public option” only bespeaks of the misinformation being sent via mass media and their cohorts;

Even the Mayo Clinic that Obama himself upheld as a leader in the health industry says the house bill will be detrimental to Americans everywhere;

What do you not understand with “public option?”
I am still standing behind Obama and hoping he will get something going,the system right now is broken and the only people making money here are the insurance companies themselves and the inflated medical fat cats. But it will be an uphill battle with all the propaganda generated by lobbyists,as far as I know America is the only country in the free world not have some kind national health coverage.
During my working years I saw health care offered by companies decline and decline, there was never no choice there, the companies choose which ever insurance company offering them the sweetest deal and the workers had no say in that,to me I don’t see where the choice is the propaganda wing-nuts are preaching.
The last 30 years in the working environment I saw health care go from 90% coverage down to 70/80 percent, with the companies vying for the cheapest rate they could find and that is a good deal for them, but the point is the workers with sick children or a sick spouse were left out in the cold while the co-pays climbed higher and higher, now where is the choice in that?
So you’d opt for a nationalized healthcare system?
Have you not watched the report by John Stossel ao ABC news? Look for it on you tube and then proport that systematic abuse of our healthcare system that you so blatantly blame on the insurance industry, which is only setting those rates because of the restrictions imposed upon it by the government.
