This is a very interesting article. I have done a lot of research on agent orange for the past 22 years. My father was a vetinam vet and died of pancreatic cancer in 1989 at the age of 42. He was sprayed several time with the poision but we have yet to prove it was the cause of his cancer. I would love more research on the conditions that agent orange can cause. Especially if it can cause problems with the children and grandchildren of the solders that came into contact with it. I am a mother now and my concern is for my children.

Congratulations for this article, very good that at long last it recognises that Agent Orange was sprayed on Vietnam (80 million litres) and not on the United States. Yes, I welcome the news that the US veterans affected (2.5 million) are being compensated, but it has to be said that not one cent has been paid to the Vietnamese victims, or to their families. Many of the victims need 24 hour attention.
Pleased that Dave Lindorff has mentioned the that the US has still to pay what was promised in 1973 the $3.5 billion by Nixon as reparations.
