In the film La Femme Nikita, Jean Reno played the role of the clean-up man who would dispose of the bodies to avoid political and diplomatic issues. It appears that David Margolis has played the same role in real-life for the Department of Justice.

President Obama, some men near you argue that you must keep the powers acquired by your predecessor.

It is a small thing that they ask for, really, just an abstraction. Integrity is not a physical thing, can you point to it? Is it not a commodity, publicly traded, that can be converted to some value in gold or silver?

By having your administration protect John Yoo and Jay Bybee , you retain these powers.

There will always be time, later, to buy your integrity back.
